Julian Johnson

Julian Johnson is a retired Police Sergeant, who served Twenty two years with the Cincinnati Police Department. She worked as a patrol officer in Districts Three, Four, Five and the Park Section. 

Julian Supervised Officers in Districts Three, Four, the Data Integration Unit, and the office of the Police Chief, as the Department’s Public Information Officer.

Julie was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in October of 1998 and broke in as a new Shift Supervisor managing patrol officers on second and third shifts in District Three. She returned to District Four and supervised patrol officers on the second shift until she was assigned to coordinate and supervise the District Four Neighborhood Unit.

Sergeant Johnson worked as the Neighborhood Unit Supervisor in District Four from April of 2002 until the Department wide redeployment of the Neighborhood Officers back onto the shifts in February of 2006. This Unit worked closely with residents, community leaders and the business owners to maintain and improve “Quality of Life” issues. In this position Sergeant Johnson worked to foster relationships between residents, community and business leaders and the police officers who serve those communities in District Four.

As a former Cincinnati Public School teacher, Julie was very comfortable working as an Adjunct Instructor teaching a number of topics including “Accepting Cultural Differences and Domestic Violence at the Department’s Police Academy.

Julie is a native of Cincinnati and attended the University of Cincinnati for both her undergraduate as well as graduate work. She has four living siblings, all brothers, and a late sister, Monica Lewis. She is married to Julia P. Wesselkamper, who is one of the region’s and country's top REALTORS, for CB Realty. Together they own "Stage It By Julia'', one of the area's most well known staging companies.

Julie and Julia's son Chad is a graduate of Rice University, and resides in Houston Texas. Her father Robert and late mother Shirley Johnson, are life long residents of Cincinnati.

Julie is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., and an avid sports lover.
